The study tour "Discovering STEAM Innovations in Japan" was held from July 19 to 24, 2025, with 30 students from F.2 to F.5 participating in an enriching experience in Tokyo, Japan. Aimed at sparking students’ interest in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), the tour deepened their understanding of Japan’s innovative culture and offered a well-rounded programme that combined education, cultural immersion, and personal growth. Highlights included hands-on learning at the Miraikan (日本科學未來館), JAXA Tsukuba Space Center, and TeamLab Planets; educational visits to the Tokyo Water Science Museum (東京都水之科學館), National Museum of Nature and Science (東京都國立科學博物館), and Earthquake Science Museum (東京都北區防災中心); a meaningful school exchange with a local Japanese language school, and cultural experiences at Tokyo Skytree (東京晴空塔), Ueno Ameyoko Market (上野阿美橫町), and Tokyo DisneySea (迪士尼海洋). The programme successfully broadened students’ global perspectives and strengthened their communication and collaboration skills through immersive, interdisciplinary learning.
