The school organized the St. John Ambulance 1-Hour First Aid Training Programme on 27 April 2026 at the JMB Hall for all Form 1 to Form 5 students. This whole-school assembly aimed to equip students with essential first aid knowledge and practical, life-saving awareness. The objectives of the programme were to introduce the basic principles of First Aid, provide students with exposure to practical first aid techniques, and motivate them to further develop their knowledge and skills in emergency response.
During the training, students learned the core principles of First Aid and the appropriate actions to take in emergency situations. Key topics included bleeding control, management of shock and fainting, recognition of heart attack, fractures, burns and scalds, airway obstruction, asthma, heat exhaustion and heat stroke, and epilepsy. Students were also introduced to the recovery position and the components of a standard first-aid kit.
