中大醫學院暑期臨床體驗計劃2025

Yip Hoi Yan was nominated to participate in the Summer Clinical Attachment Programme (SCAP) 2025, organized by the Faculty of Medicine at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, from July 14th to 18th. This program is tailored for secondary school students aspiring to study medicine, offering exposure to CUHK’s teaching facilities and clinical work.

During the week-long attachment, Hoi Yan engaged in various activities, including shadowing doctors in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Prince of Wales Hospital and the Department of Radiology at CUHK Medical Centre. She participated in hands-on clinical skills training such as CPR and intubation, along with infection control practice and campus visits.

Additionally, she experienced interactive learning through a flipped classroom on vertebrates, medical case studies, and group sessions with professors. These opportunities provided her with valuable insights into the medical profession, strengthened her passion for healthcare, and marked a significant step in her career journey.
