Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Education Expo

On 14^th to 15^th December 2024, our school participated in the first Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Education Expo, which was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. During the two-day event, our SCSG Medical Club has prepared different immersive AR learning experiences for the visitors to learn more about eye diseases, and also our school's vision.

The AR experiences, collaborated with the Hong Kong University Medicine and Faculty of Ophthalmology, gave the visitors a simulated experience of having eye defects such as the aged related macular degeneration, colour blindness and cataract. A suture station was also set up to allow visitors to experience the sewing of wounds like an actual surgeon. With the assistance of our student helpers, visitors could understand more about eye defects and the patients' agony through the simulated experiences.
