Medical Club: Exploring PolyU Healthcare Programmes

Members of our Medical Club visited The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) to explore healthcare-related university programs and professional pathways. The trip featured an engaging Admissions Talk and a Student Sharing session, where students learned about the academic structure and learning opportunities in health science disciplines.

They then toured the laboratories of the School of Nursing and the Department of Health Technology and Informatics, where they discovered facilities related to medical laboratory science and radiology. Through guided tours and demonstrations, students observed how biomedical technologies and clinical training integrate into university-level healthcare education.

This visit provided our girls with invaluable exposure to the interdisciplinary nature of modern healthcare, helping them connect scientific knowledge from secondary school to professional training in fields such as nursing, medical laboratory science, and radiography. It broadened their perspectives on future study options and sparked their interest in pursuing careers in the medical and health sciences.
