Time to Talk Public Speaking Competition
Date: 05/05/2026
Organised by the Regional NET Coordinating Team, Native-speaking English Teacher Section, Curriculum Development Institute, Education Bureau, the Time to Talk Public Speaking Competition 2025/26 is a highly competitive event, with more than 100 schools taking part annually. On 5 May, eight members of our school's Public Speaking Club proudly represented the school, delivering speeches inspired by a selected list of songs, including A Whole New World and Fight Song. Their performances impressed the judges with passion and creativity.
Among the two teams, Alisha Chan (2Ma), Shenice Lam (2Pe), Sophie So (3D), and Eunice Yeung (3Ma) rose to the challenge and earned a Merit Award for their outstanding performance. Delivering a powerful and heartfelt speech inspired by Rachel Platten's Fight Song, the team captivated the judges with their confidence, teamwork, and eloquence.
